Cecilia is artistic director of Spectra Ensemble. She has directed for companies including Opera Holland Park, Oxford Opera, Saluzzo Opera Academy, Spectra Ensemble and University College Opera, and assisted at the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Garsington Opera, British Youth Opera and Berlin Opera Academy where she worked in German, Italian and French. In July 2021 Cecilia was recognised with a Leonard Ingrams Award as one of the best young artists involved in bringing an opera to the Garsington stage.

Alongside her freelance work, Cecilia completed an AHRC-funded PhD in History of Art at University College London. Previously, Cecilia worked as Public Engagement Curator at the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, Oxford where she staged monthly late nights, LiveFridays. Cecilia initially trained as a violinist under Igor Petrushevski at the Junior Royal Academy of Music, London.

Cecilia’s 2023/24 directing engagements include La traviata for Oxford Opera, MA Opera Scenes for The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and The Barber of Seville for Opera Holland Park.
